About Us

The Youth Foundation is a non-profit organization for adolescents, battered women, the homeless, the unemployed and in general the disadvantaged. Since 1978, our primary goal has been to help our clients and their families recover from damaging lifestyles. We provide food, clothing, counseling and life skills training to clients and their families as well as working alongside other charitable organizations throughout Los Angeles. We are in the process of expanding our program to include key cities such as New York and Chicago.

The Youth Foundation has received tremendous support from the business sector all across the United States. All contributions are tax deductible under Section 501 © (3) of the Internal Revenue Code (Exemption #77-0148149)

Our Dream

We have a dream and a vision that one day soon, we will have one facility that will hold all of our programs under one umbrella. We will purchase  real estate that will consist of  a gym, child care center, corporate offices, playground, swimming pool, class rooms, computer learning center, and much more. This goal is short range. Our long range goal is to have a Youth Foundation in every major city in the United States, and any where else where there is a need  for  these services.

Our Mission

The Drug & Crime Free

Today, we remain committed to the youths, adults, and to the structure of family within our communities by providing services that have been catered to build character, edify, enlighten, encourage and strengthen.

We provide comprehensive computer training, academic tutoring, mentoring and job preparation to inner city residents. With the aid of our program, our participants acquire the knowledge and skills that are essential in being competitive students and candidates for employment.

Our goal is to equip the residents of the inner city with the necessary tools that will enable them to make significant choices in their immediate lives and distant future, whereby causing them to advance and excel as productive citizens in our society.

We understand that the success of our program is predicated on the professionalism and proficiency of our staff and volunteers who preside as educators and role models to our participants, therefore, we invest in our employees and volunteers by sponsoring adequate training and management courses. We provide a work environment that is conducive to their physical and mental well-being. We implement incentive programs to reward and encourage our employees to make meaningful contributions to the company, the industry and our community.
